From 2022 onwards, it will be possible to pay the property tax in the municipality of Palma by instalments. 

In order to be able to pay the property tax – IBI by instalments, certain requirements must be met. The property tax receipts must be in your name, regardless of whether it is a rural or urban property. Registration for this special payment system does not have to be applied for every year, it is sufficient to apply once and the renewal is automatic.

According to the municipality of Palma, taxpayers will be able to apply for one of the following payment systems from 1 January 2022:

Monthly payment:

8 instalments from February to September, with a final settlement in October by the Town Hall.

Quarterly payment:

3 instalments payable in the months of February, May and August, with a final settlement in the month of October by the Town Hall.

Single payment:

1 instalment in February with a discount of 5% and a maximum amount of 50,00€ per taxpayer and with settlement in October. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
